Job Summary:

Experienced Account Manager with 10-15 years of oil and gas production experience, responsible for overseeing labor allocation, project coordination, and workforce supervision. Gathers and processes human resource requests, assigns personnel based on project scope and safety considerations, and ensures work meets customer expectations. Manages up to 15 supervisors and 100 employees, handling hiring, training, performance evaluations, and compliance with safety regulations. Develops reports for executives and customers, resolves service-related issues, and collaborates with HR for workforce planning. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 

  • Gather human resource requests from customers and other departments for workers to perform such work as production, maintenance and construction in order to meet future and immediate labor requests. 
  • Confer with customers on status of on-going projects and number of workers required, in order to determine allocation and assignment of human resources in labor pool.
  • Assigns supervisory personnel and workers to perform work requested, complete on-going projects, or to assist other departments.  Considers such factors as safety, scope of project or work, type of work, and available equipment needed to perform assigned work.
  • Follows-up on ongoing and completed projects to ensure work performed is meeting or has met customer expectations and standards. 
  • Assigns or reassigns workers to meet unforeseen emergencies or work requests.
  • Develop and maintain individual and departmental reports to be delivered to customers and company executives.
  • Confer with customers by phone or in person.  Answer questions about service.  Recommends corrective services to adjust customer complaints concerning billing or service rendered.
  • Visits customers at their place of residence to confirm that customer is satisfied with current level of service being provided.
  • Studies production schedules, forecasts manpower levels, and coordinates with Human Resources department for on-time completion of job request.
  • Reviews job orders and matches applicants with job requirements including personal interviews if deemed necessary.
  • Inform employees of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company and/or customer policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information.
  • Establishes and promotes the maintenance of a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment.  Develops annual safety plan.  Participates in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and injuries.  Follows-up with employees injured to ensure timely return to work or release.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manages up to five to fifteen subordinate supervisors who supervise between a total of ten to thirty employees in the field.  Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
  • Also, directly supervises 25 to 100 non – supervisory employees.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • 10-15 Years production experience
