Job Summary:
The Employee Development Professional is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee skills, performance, and career growth. This role involves assessing training needs, creating development strategies, and facilitating various learning opportunities to support the organization's goals and improve employee engagement and productivity.

Responsibilities

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs through needs assessments with alignment to the Danos strategic priorities and Danos behavioral competencies.
  • Develop and design training programs and materials, including in-person training, virtual training, and e-learning modules.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to identify relevant training content.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops on various topics, including leadership, technical skills, and soft skills.
  • Gather feedback from employees and stakeholders to continuously improve development programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to training and development.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

Career Progression Facilitation:

  • Partner with Danos leadership to create and implement career development plans and succession planning strategies.
  • Assist employees with identifying development opportunities both internally and externally that align with target behavioral competencies.
  • Train employees on best practices for utilizing the online development plans.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify performance gaps and create targeted development plans to address.
  • Monitor program participation and track metrics to assess impact and effectiveness.

Research and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to employee development.
  • Recommend and implement innovative development solutions and tools to enhance learning experiences.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in employee development or a related Human Resources role.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training content.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure and report on program effectiveness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships across the organization.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with occasional travel to different company locations or external events.
  • May require flexibility in working hours to accommodate training schedules.
